Namibia in black-and-white: Kolmanskop
Ten kilometres inland from the Bavarian art nouveau architecture of Luderitz lies the abandoned 'ghost town' of Kolmanskop - left to the drifting sands when the surface diamonds that had given the town life were no longer plentiful enough to be worth mining. Day by day the town is reclaimed by the desert.
