Elephants of the Zambezi River
Namibia's desert elephants have learned to be frugal with water. Not so the huge elephant herds that live along the banks of the Zambezi River. For them, the river and the green hills rising above it are, if not an Eden exactly, a spa and playground. These images I hope capture some of the playful abandon, as well as something of the personalities and stature of these elemental creatures
